My name is Dr. Dustin E. Van Tassell. I was born in Bryan, TX, but grew up in Wyoming and Idaho. I have been working in the field since 2008 and earned my dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2015. Prior to attending Creighton University, I attended the University of Idaho and earned a B.S. in Microbiology.

I attended Creighton School of Dentistry through the Idaho Dental Education Program or IDEP. Only the top eight pre-dental students from the state of Idaho are selected for this program. While attending Creighton, I was elected by faculty members into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Dental Society. Only 10 students per year who demonstrate scholarship and character are elected into the OKU. I also was awarded Quiescence and Leadership awards in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Prosthodontics by demonstrating top clinical skills and leadership and graduated Magna Cum Laude in my class.

I am a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. I am also serving as the 13th District Dental Society President. I am the leader of a local study club and am also undergoing extensive training at the world renown Las Vegas Institute. I feel that it is important to treat my patients as I would my own family. That is why I emphasize comprehensive treatment that not only makes your teeth look beautiful, it gives them optimal function!

I am married to Kierstin Van Tassell. We have five children. I speak Spanish and have spent several years serving the Hispanic population as a missionary for my church in the country of Chile and during dental school and private practice. I love to spend time with my wife and five kids. My hobbies include cooking and grilling food, woodworking, sports, and spending time with my family.
